Total U.S. Boxboard Monthly Production Decreased Two Percent in November 2020
The boxboard operating rate was 91.3 percent, down 1.4 points from November 2019 and down 0.7 points year-to-date.
Dec. 16, 2020 - The American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) has released its November 2020 Boxboard Monthly report. According to the report, total boxboard production in November decreased two percent compared to November 2019. It was down three percent when compared to the same 11 months of 2019. The boxboard operating rate was 91.3 percent, down 1.4 points from November 2019 and down 0.7 points year-to-date.
NOTE: Beginning in 2021, AF&PA will publish the Boxboard reports on a quarterly basis; the reports will still contain the monthly data.
