Dec. 28, 2021 - Metsä Fibre has announced the following changes in its management team:
Timi Hyppänen is appointed Senior Vice President, Supply Chain of Metsä Fibre, and a member of the company's Management Team as of 1 January 2022. In his new role, Hyppänen will report to Metsä Fibre's CEO Ismo Nousiainen.
Jari Tikkanen has been appointed Senior Vice President, Pulp Production, as of 1 January 2022. Tikkanen is currently working as the SVP, Sawmill Business. When Tikkanen takes up his new position, Kaija Pehu-Lehtonen, SVP Business Development, will temporarily be responsible for the company's sawn timber production in addition to her own position. A new SVP, Sawmill Business, will be appointed later.
Jaakko Anttila, who has been Metsä Fibre's SVP, Pulp Production, since 2019, will start in his new role as EVP, Metsä Wood, as of January 1, 2022.
