Lecta to Increase Prices for Its Range of Specialty Papers by 8-10%

Feb. 26, 2024 - Lecta announced that it will increase prices for its specialty paper by 8-10% for all markets, effective April 1, 2024.

Price increases will depend on the type of product, Lecta said.

In a press release, Lecta said the price adjustment is unavoidable. "Due to the significant increase in raw material costs, especially driven by pulp, alongside other manufacturing costs related to the recent supply chain constraints in the Red Sea.

"The price increase will be implemented in all our Labelling and Flexible Packaging papers, Coated 1 side, Release Liners, Metallized, Cast Coated, Thermal and Carbonless," the company added.

Lecta said its sales teams remain available to all customers to provide more detailed information.
