Pixelle Announces Agreement to Sell Stevens Point Paper Mill to Ahlstrom

April 4, 2025 - Pixelle Specialty Solutions announced it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell its paper mill in Stevens Point, Wisconsin to Ahlstrom.

The Stevens Point mill, with two paper machines, has the capacity to produce about 210,000 tons per year of specialty paper, such as coated flexible packaging papers, release liner base, thermal papers, and other specialty labels.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2025, subject to customary regulatory approvals and closing conditions.
