Sourav Das
April 22, 2025 - Aikawa Fiber Technologies (AFT) has appointed Sourav Das as General Manager, Asian Region. With more than 30 years of industry experience, Das brings expertise and a proven track record in the pulp and paper sector across India, Bangladesh, and neighboring markets.
In his new role, Das will oversee AFT's operations and commercial strategy across the ex-Japan Asian region, driving business growth and customer success in these strategically important regions.

Das began his career in 1993 with Kingsley Industries Limited, part of the Wires & Fabriks Group, where he advanced from Sales & Service Engineer to Product Manager over 17 years. He then joined Swedish trading company Elof Hansson as Area Manager for Eastern India and Bangladesh, representing paper industry suppliers including AFT, Aston Johnson, Scan Pump, and L&W.
Since joining AFT in 2017, Das has played a key role in establishing and growing the company's presence in India and Bangladesh. His appointment as General Manager reflects AFT's confidence in his leadership and vision for the region.
AFT is a global supplier specialized in stock preparation, screening, refining and paper machine approach flow systems.
